The trans-Caspian route through Kuryk provides efficient logistics of cargo delivery from China, Central Asian countries - Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and the Ural-Siberian region of Russia to Turkey and Europe and back, which will enable Kazakhstan to increase revenues from transit traffic to 5 billion by 2020 dollars per year. To date, the Mangystau region has become a major transport and logistics center, where aviation, railway, road and water transport networks are concentrated in one place. Two modern Caspian ports complement each other. This opens up new prospects for the region. It is necessary to promote the service sector, attract multinational companies, through the use of new technologies to develop processing industries, which as a whole will contribute to the rise of the tourism industry. This is very important for the diversification of the economy of your region. We should use these opportunities effectively," - Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
