A plant for the production of pumping-compressor and pumping rods will open in Zhanaozen

A plant for the production of pumping and compressor pipes and pumping rods will open in Mangystau thanks to investments of more than 17 billion tenge from the company KazPetroDrilling JSC. It is planned to launch production in Zhanaozen by the end of 2024. This project is being implemented within the framework of a memorandum signed by the first Deputy Akim of Mangistau region Zhumabai Karagayev and Vice President of KazPetroDrilling JSC Kayyrbek Yeleusinov, the press service of the akim of Mangistau region reports.

The production capacity of the plant will be 51 thousand tons of tubing and 540 thousand pumping rods per year. Thanks to the implementation of the project, more than 150 jobs will be created during construction and 330 jobs during operation.

Vice-President of KazPetroDrilling JSC Kayyrbek Yeleusinov stressed the importance of this project and noted that its implementation will help solve important tasks such as import substitution and development of regional personnel.

Local executive bodies of Mangystau region are ready to provide comprehensive support to KazPetroDrilling JSC.

- As the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed, the key factors for achieving economic growth are attracting investment and developing industry. Mangystau, as is widely known, occupies a leading and strategically significant position among the regions of Kazakhstan, making a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the country. Within the framework of the signed memorandum, it is planned to implement a project for the construction of a plant for the production of pipe products near the Technopark production site in the city of Zhanaozen. This initiative will help create additional jobs, reduce unemployment in the region and actively develop the economy, as well as increase export opportunities," Zhumabai Karagayev stressed.

KazPetroDrilling JSC is the largest independent drilling company in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which has been providing oilfield services since 1965. The company specializes in providing a wide range of services in the field of drilling, repair and liquidation of wells, hydraulic fracturing, well cementing and production of oilfield equipment for the needs of the oil and gas sector.

Recall that on August 23 of this year, the first memorandum was signed on the construction of a plant for the production of pipe products in the Mangystau region near the village of Kuryk.
