In Astana today, in the framework of the conference “Kazakhstan: new investment opportunities”, a single exhibition of industrial and innovative projects was held, the purpose of which was the presentation Kazakhstan projects, requiring investment, to potential foreign investors and it dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence. The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Ideas and developments were presented by 70 Kazakhstan companies from all regions of Kazakhstan and Astana and Almaty cities. Also at the exhibition the structure and content of the special economic zones, in which investors are provided with the necessary infrastructure and receive government support, were extendedly presented.

The exhibition was divided into sectors “Agro-industrial Complex”, “Mining and Metallurgical Complex”, “Construction Industry”, “Transport Infrastructure”, “Energy”, “Oil and Gas Industry”, “Mechanical Engineering”, “Special economic zones”, “Industrial Zones”. Each exhibitor has provided background information on its project with an estimated cost and the anticipated payback periods, implementation variations of future products. At the same time, the exhibition organizers have noted the high quality of the projects that were presented at the exhibition and are effective for attracting investments.

Deputy Minister for Investment and Development of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Khairov, said, “The exhibition has an applied focus - Here foreign investors get an overview of a large number of investment projects. We hope that all participants of the exhibition will establish useful contacts today, which will be realized into a fruitful cooperation in the near future.”

Exhibitors and potential partners from foreign investors have thanked the organizer of the event represented by the Ministry for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noting the importance and necessity of such events for the successful implementation of investment projects.
