“KAZAKH INVEST” AND GERMAN ECONOMY REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE FOR CENTRAL ASIA HAVE AGREED TO ACTIVATE INVESTMENT COOPERATION BETWEEN THE COUNTRIES

Saparbek Tuyakbayev, Chairman of the Board of “Kazakh Invest”, and Katharina Koch, Deputy Head of German Economy Representative Office for Central Asia, has met today in Almaty.

During the meeting S.Tuyakbayev told on the current activities of “Kazakh Invest”, introduction of “one-stop shop” principle in the work with foreign investors in Kazakhstan and on investment preferences provided to foreign entrepreneurs.

“We consider Germany as a priority country with great potential for investing to Kazakhstan. German business is very flexible, high-technology; it holds serious positions in the global market. And therefore, “Kazakh Invest” is ready to support the investment projects of German businessmen”, - Saparbek Tuyakbayev noted. 

In turn, the Deputy Head of German Economy Representative Office in Central Asia Katharina Koch emphasized that Germany is interested in intensive cooperation of trade and economic cooperation with Kazakhstan.

“Our organization receives requests from German businessmen who are looking for potential investment projects in Kazakhstan. We are happy that there is such an interest and we hope that with the assistance of “Kazakh Invest” all organizational issues, including migration, will be resolved”, - K.Koch reported.

By the results of the meeting, the parties agreed on joint investment activities with participation of German businessmen.
