In 2017, the Fund for the Development of Social Projects "Samruk-Kazyna Trust" launched in Mangystau region a large-scale project - the Social Investment Program "Menіn elіm".

The “Menin elim” Program unites a series of projects aimed at raising the standard of living in the regions to a standard of living in the cities of Astana and Almaty. "Menіn elім" covers several areas, including the development of local communities through the support of civic initiatives, the development of social infrastructure, the revival of the historical and cultural heritage, and the formation of a healthy lifestyle.

Last year, the Samruk-Kazyna Trust Foundation implemented 4 significant projects in the Mangystau region. According to the project of equipping of secondary schools with sports equipment, 50 schools of Mangystau region received 47 new sets of equipment for sports. 4 correctional schools of the region for children with hearing, visual and intellectual impairments were equipped with special equipment and didactic materials. Also soft and sensory rooms were installed in these schools, which have a relaxing effect on children.

The social entrepreneurs of Mangystau within the "Menin elim" Program got an opportunity to develop their projects, thanks to the allocated grants. The amount of grants was from 500 thousand to 2 million tenge.

Also, under the Program, 12 play and sports grounds were established in the cities of Aktau, Zhanaozen, Fort-Shevchenko, in two villages of the Munaily region and in the Shetpe settlement, located in Mangystau district.

In 2018, the Mangistau region hosted the Olympics of innovative projects among schoolchildren. The main prize was a one-month trip to the UK to study English.

Since 2016, as part of its charitable activities, the Fund for the Development of Social Projects Samruk-Kazyna Trust has launched the social investment program “Menin elim” aimed at improving the social and economic situation in the regions of the presence of the Samruk-Kazyna Group of Companies. The program is implemented through the development of social infrastructure and increased access of the local population to high standards of quality of life: the social environment, education, culture and sport.

Today the Program is implemented in four regions: Mangystau, Aktyubinsk, West Kazakhstan, Pavlodar regions.

Development of the social investment program "Menіl елім" is one of the priority tasks of the social policy of the group of companies of "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC, and first of all - the charity operator of the group of companies of the Fund for the Development of Social Projects "Samruk-Kazyna Trust".
