During the meeting, the issues of participation of foreign investors in deregulating business processes in Kazakhstan, including the telecommunications and insurance industries were discussed.

In the President’s Address "The Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness", the Head of the State N.Nazarbayev instructed the Government to develop systemic measures to deregulate business by adopting the best standards and practices of developed countries by July 1, 2017. In this regard, the members of the Council made their proposals for involving representatives of small and medium-sized international companies in the process. Also, they examined the issues of auditing the legislation to identify the norms which impede the competition and reduce all types of costs for business.
