On October 20, JSC “Kazakhstan Center for Public-Private Partnership” hosted a round-table discussion with the cooperation of KAZNEX INVEST in Astana. The purpose was to clarify the regulations and mechanisms of public-private partnership operation for the representatives of SEZ from Kazakhstan.

During the event the representatives of PPP explained how the Center operates, clarified the provisions of the new Law of Republic of Kazakhstan “On public-private partnership”, methods of governmental support, algorithms and scopes of application of PPP in SEZ of Republic of Kazakhstan, aimed at designing, construction, creation, reconstruction, modernization and operation of SEZ infrastructure assets.

The issues of possible cooperation within the framework of PPP in SEZ of Republic of Kazakhstan were discussed during the event. Moreover, a decision was taken to develop a special program on realization of PPP projects in the territory of SEZ of Republic of Kazakhstan.

We invite the investors to take an active part in development of SEZ infrastructure within the frameworks of PPP.
