KAZAKHSTAN AND THE UAE EXPAND COOPERATION IN THE SPHERE OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

 The delegation included Rector of the Academy Fatima Zhakypova and Director of the Institute of Diplomacy Anuar Ayazbekov who held a number of meetings and attended events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the UAE.

In particular, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Institute of Diplomacy of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the UAE Diplomatic Academy.

According to Fatima Zhakypova, Rector of the Academy of State Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "the memorandum signed by the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Mohammed Bin Rashid State School serves as a basis for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation between two institutions specializing in public service, public policy and international relations" .

In addition, a meeting with the leadership of the School of Public Administration named after Mohammed Bin Rashid was held to give impetus to the bilateral Memorandum of Cooperation signed in May 2016.

Also, the delegation of the Academy took part in the "round table" dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the ceremony of presenting of the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev in Arabic.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a plan for further cooperation. It is planned to consider the issues of involving School experts in the Academy with a series of lectures on the topic "Creating Smart Cities and Highly Effective International Financial Centers."

In addition, the Rector of the Academy visited the opening of the Department of Kazakh Literature at the Dubai Public Library and donated books about Kazakhstan.
