During the meeting were discussed topics such as: the position of SEZ participants registered before 2012, and status of participant after 1 January 2017; procedure for declaring goods purchased on / over the territory of the Customs Union; procedure for declaring the final product made of the local / foreign raw materials; VAT refund mechanism for the supplier of goods on the territory of SEZ; status of the certificate «CT-KZ» after January 1, 2017.

detailed explanations regarding the issues of customs clearance procedures stipulated
in the territory of SEZ. Also, within the framework of the meeting participants
of SEZ "Seaport Aktau» were listened and identified a number of
constraints during customs procedures.
Would like to note, nowadays the Managing Authority of SEZ "Seaport Aktau" on a regular basis organizes such events in order to create a dialogue platform where investors can discuss the issues arising from the state authorities. This dialogue platform lets to reduce administrative barriers and eliminate misunderstandings between the parties.
