OVER 100 KAZAKHSTANI AND CZECH ENTREPRENEURS PARTICIPATED IN BUSINESS FORUM IN PRAGUE

More than 100 representatives of Czech and Kazakh business took part in the forum. The organizers are the Ministry of Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Foreign Trade Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for CIS countries.

Within the framework of the business forum, topical issues of cooperation development in such areas as investments, industry, insurance and trade were discussed.

Vice Minister Yerlan Khairov noted that favorable investment conditions have been created in Kazakhstan. Perspective branches of cooperation are transit, engineering, energy, innovation and agriculture.

In his turn, Jiří Koliba noted the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation - Kazakhstan's trade with the Czech Republic for 9 months of this year grew by 121% and amounted to about $500 million.

Following the results of the forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Foreign Trade Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the CIS countries on the establishment of the Business Council between Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic. This memorandum will allow not only to continue work on the implementation of existing commercial arrangements, but also to establish new contacts for the development of promising areas.

Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan Ayan Yerenov, who signed the memorandum, said that the Kazakh side is ready to assist in finding partners to Czech investors and entrepreneurs.

After the event, bilateral business meetings between the two countries were held.
