On May 13, 2023, a delegation of Kronospan company headed by Commercial Director Tomash Yanchak and representative of the company in the Republic of Kazakhstan Ekaterina Rabizova visited Aktau.

During the visit, a meeting was held with Deputy Akim of Mangystau region Bektemir R.B., during which prospects for further cooperation and plans for further implementation of the project "Production of laminated chipboard" were discussed.

Further, the delegation visited a potential site for the placement of the project on the territory of the SEZ "Seaport Aktau", Chairman of the Board of JSC "SEZ "Seaport Aktau" Kabashev A.T. familiarized with the activities and plans for the further development of the SEZ. As a result of the visit, an agreement on further cooperation was reached.
