Major road infrastructure projects continue in the Mangystau region with the use of locally manufactured materials. Asphalt concrete produced by the KaspiiTasZhol plant was used in the reconstruction of the runway at Aktau International Airport, ensuring that the pavement meets international standards.
In addition, the plant’s products were used in the construction of the road from the airport to Aktau, the access road to the underground Beket Ata Mosque, and the Zhetybai-Zhanaozen highway.
The plant, located in the SEZ Seaport Aktau, was commissioned in 2014. Six months ago, a second production line was launched, which currently produces 210-220 tons of output per hour. All materials fully comply with national standards.
“The second production line was launched in response to growing market demand. In the future, the enterprise plans to reach full capacity, contributing to the development of road construction in the region and improving infrastructure quality,” said Ondagan Nadirov, Deputy Director of the plant.
The enterprise has created 30 permanent jobs, positively impacting the region’s socio-economic development. Crushed stone is supplied from nearby quarries, while bitumen is sourced from local oil enterprises.
Moreover, the plant’s location within the SEZ Seaport Aktau expands logistics capabilities and increases production efficiency.
